Hello and welcome to my website!
My first passion is macro nature photography. I strive to create images that are delicate, sensual, and powerful....capturing flowers in their glorious intimacy, with stamens rising and petals dancing. The occasional spider, frog and caterpillar seem to arrive and pose, patiently, for the camera.
A resident of Schuylkill Haven for over 40 years, I discovered my passion and talent for photography are late in life. I smile when asked, "Where do you photograph?" My reply is a reflective "Here, there, and everywhere"....and that is likely where you will find me - with my camera in hand, capturing images contentedly in my own back yard or that of a neighbor, hiking Pennsylvania's beautiful woodlands, wading most any stream or lake, positioned for a sunrise or sunset, lured away to exotic places. I am always looking for an adventure and I love to create my art and, I believe, my photography reflects my passion as a photographer.
I was born and raised in South Carolina, and lived in New York City and Lancaster, PA before settling in Schuylkill County many years ago with my husband Gary and our two children Pamela and Wayne. I'm a member of Allied Artists of Schuylkill County, Berks Photographic Society, and remain very active in my church and various community activities.
